There is no easy way to say that the Twilight series has come to an end (*tear) but ever since then I have been trying to find a decent book to get into. I run into a few good ones including the magical trilogy by Libba Bray "A Great and Terrible Beauty", "Rebel Angels" and "The Sweet Far Thing" (which is by far one of my favorite series now and I can't wait to list the cast for that as well, seeing how I fit the main character's desciption perfectly, muahaha..)Anyhow this book, "Blue Bloods" is like Gossip Girl (NYC it-girls) and Twilight (vampires) put together.
What more could you need right?
(apparently a solid story line... the ending was very anti-climatic.)
However I still believe this could be made INTO a great movie, if they changed a few things to make it more interesting and less cheesy.
When reading the book I pictured this sweet, red headed texan character named Bliss to be played by one of my favorite actresses, Jayma Mays (Heroes) and so I thought it would be fun to cast it.
I dont really want to break down the book for you but fans of the book will recognize each character easily.
There are brother and sister twins in the book, Mimi and Jack Force who kinda had a thing together in a "past life" so I thought Blake Lively (who is also a perfect blonde vampire looking actress) and her real life beau Penn Bradgley (spelling) would be perfect for it since they also fit the book's description.
Alexis Bledel would be the main character, Schuyler (pronounced sky-lar) because she is the most beautiful dark haired, innocent blue eyed pale actress i could think of for the role. Her character is very goth and gritty.
I'm tired and i've been meaning to post this dream casting for a while now.

oh em gee! you scared me soooo much! i heard they were makin blue bloods into a tv show and i hav been tryin to find audition info. i came across this nd i freaked cuz i thought the parts had already been cast! i wanna play schuyler, but the actress you prefered for her is a really good choice too!
i was very sad when twilight was over. after my first tym finishing breaking dawn i creied for days!

some other books that i personally lyked were Speak, Jinx, and Avalon High (which eeep! im so excited, cuz its bein made into a movie nd im gonna audition for that too!). i heard that Blood and Chocolate is good and i saw the movie and it reminded me of Twilight if everythig was kinda switched around. its a werewolf girl who falls in love with a human guy, but its good!
I think that Blake Lively would be a slightly better image of Mimi Force then Ashely Tisdale. Ashley has the right attitude and stuff but Blake has the more of a vampire seductive thing then Ashely does. SO definitely Blake should get the spot. I also clicked on your actress profile link thing and totally think that you would be an awesome Gemma Doyle! I really wish they would make that series into movies because there is so much good movie material in it. It's just so exciting!

LOVE your idea of Blake as Mimi. She would be absolutly perfect. I also really like the Schuyler. It was really good looking. I am a Twilight fan, and I'm so sad that it is over. Some really good books are the Night world series, by L. J. Smith, She also wrote the Vampire Diaries, and Secret Circle. I also like the series SWEEP I know the author is a Cate someone or another. Chosen series is another Vampire series by P.C Cast and Kristin Cast. Revealers by Amanda Marrone is a pretty interesting book. So is Eternal, by Cynthia Smith. The Blue Girl, by Charles de Lint is a fantastic book, and the Summoning series is cool. And now I am going on and on. So I will stop. But, thanks for your cast for the Book.

your cast looks all right but i live in westlake ( austin, TX ) and we just had this HUGE survay and the final tally was that out of millions of people includeing the snobby rich ones that spend hundreds on movies tickets to the same movie ( i think it's crazy but i'm not jokeing ) says that only 448 people like to watch movies with famous actors in it. ONLY 448 OUT OF MILLIONS!!!!!! my point is, down here we like the cast to be ordinary people.
