Merry Christmas!

Have a very merry Christmas.

It's nice having a day off from the world, isn't it? Off work, free of bills, and social obilgations. (except for reading my blog, of course!) Disconnected from your hectic cycle, visiting with those family members you get to (or can only stand to) see once a year. Well, Christmas was at my house this year, and you better believe it was bigger than ever!

The Plaster's love to eat. They like to cook, and then they eat what they cook.

This year my big redneck uncle (bless his nebraska born heart) bought a "Tur-duc-kin".

It is a huge TURKEY stuffed with DUCK, stuffed with CHICKEN.

Along with the garlic mashed potatos, crispy green bean casarole AND sliced HAM, it was delicious. and you better believe Amber had one of everything, twice.

Did I mention my most important New Years Resolution? Eating healthier, and less!

Well now that we're talking about New Years-EVE- that is...

**NEW YEARS EVE**

Every year we gather together to celebrate with our favorite party-goers, dancers, and bff's around a bottle of extra dry california champagne. If you don't care for the bubbly, and are at a bon-fire, as is the so cal way to party: I recommend coffee or hot chocolate with starbucks licquer, bailey's, or caramel-infused-khalua. I tried both for the first time last new years!

I attribute the success of that crazy party to those drinks, and that bon-fire.

Speaking of which... New Years Day is my 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY with Ryan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe how fast time flies, but it's been the best year yet. I keep that 25 yr old young and he keeps me focused. We both love God with all our hearts and have taught each other so much this past year. I'm so excited for '08!

However, much to my chargin, Ryan has to work New Year's Eve (closing the bar) and he OPENS it the next morning!!!! What kind of horrid manager from hades would do that to a bartender!?!?! there are like 6 to choose from, and he makes Ryan work the closing and opening shifts back to back.

----However. Ryan is the only bartender... So McNugget, Alli and myself are sure to be seen getting drinks all night before the ball drops. Then we will all go crash a party, head over to Alli's to watch the ball drop, or Ryan will sweep me off my feet and wisk me to santa monica and watch fireworks on the beach until the sun comes up and apologze for not remembering to ask off work for our anniversary, while impressing me with a fancy bottle of french champange and naming a star after me. Hopefully the last one ;)

If there are any pre or post new years parties, let me know!

Ryan and I made an attempt to send Christmas Cards this year, but we only got as far as taking snapshots. So here are some pictures from that.

***************************************************

Best and Worst:

Best part about Christmas: My Audrey Hepburn Calander and dvds. She is so classy! Just what I wanted! je adore audrey!!

Worst part about Christmas: Chicken Soup for the AMERICAN IDOL Soul. a la' my crazy, out of touch mother, who apparently is very misguided on what I want to be when I grow up.

*sigh*

4-pay off all credit card debt

5-save up 5 grand to move out to hollywood

6-do as many free acting jobs i can in my spare time to build a reel/resume'

7-build my modeling book with recent 8x10s and find a great scene partner for practice.

~ First of all, if I ever visit your family for dinner, I'll come already full and refrain from telling them of my vegan lifestyle ;)

~ Second of all, CONGRATULATIONS on your 1 year anniversary!!! That is soooo exciting, and I'm so happy for you both. You two are absolutely perfect for each other! - (and I know a star yet to have your name on it!)

~ That's adorable that your mom got you that book! ... and sad that there is such a book.

~ As far as resolutions go, I'll need to think about that, so stay tuned to my blog... that seems like my next entry ;)
