Interviewed with Red Fish, a new fine-dining (and when i say fine, I mean expensive) restaurant in the Simi Town Center. I talked to Nick, the GM for about an hour, he used to do lighting/rigging for cbs and wb so we clicked, although he was skeptical of my commitment, bc i have alot of jobs for a short amount of time, but i really cant help it, given the circumstances. He liked me but decided he wouldnt start me off as a server right away because i have no fine-dining experience. So I'll start out at another tipped-out position. Fine with me! Although I cant wait to serve/cocktail there, it seems really put together and nice. They have 1 server assistant for every 2 servers on and a beverage expo to take care of your non alcoholic drinks! what the? hey, if they want to spend money, let them. I'll be working here for dinners.
I got hired at Maverick's Steakhouse as a server for breakfast and lunches, starting saturday! They seem very sweet and laidback people. Geoff, dark hair, pictured, hired me on the spot and gave me the schedule I wanted! So I can tell we're going to be great friends :)
